‘What You Want/What You Need’ is drums, arguments, triumphant school kids, The Cardiacs, loneliness, grappling guitars, almost a guitar solo! Gang vocals, those drums again. Sorting your brain out, a little bit happy, a little bit sad.

Hellohello! We are about to spend a ton of time in that place in the picture there recording tracks for our debut album. Been waiting for this for so long, can’t wait to get in and start making a racket. Over the last few months we’ve written tons of new songs, re-visited as many old and half finished ones and whittled it down to a (long!) shortlist. We’ve even got the album title decided on. This is sounding WAY to organised for us.

We’re very excited to announce that we’ll be releasing our second single, Shotgun Valentine, as a FREE download TODAY! Oct 12th 2009. We are also giving away a new song, Western Bridge, as an exclusive flip-side to the single.

In other exciting news; we’ve been holed up in Mook Studios in Leeds with Forward Russia head honcho, Whiskas, who has been recording and producing new YA tracks which we will be releasing as soon as we decide how we are going to put them out, we wanna do something special.
We have also just been added to the Huw Stephens curated SWN FESTIVAL in Cardiff, Wales on Friday Oct 23rd. We are playing at the Clwb Ifor Bach venue with Johnny Foreigner, Pulled Apart By Horses, Decimals etc and are very much looking forward to it!
